Care Guide

Bed linen

Bamboo

- Wash in cold or luke-warm water. If washing in a machine, select a gentle and shorter cycle.

-  Wash separately from other laundry.

- Do not soak.

- Use a mild liquid detergent.

- Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.

- Air-drying indoors is recommended. Stretch the bed linen out before hanging it up to reduce wrinkles. If using a dryer, choose a low-temperature, gentle setting and remove promptly when done.

- Iron at a low temperature on the reverse side if ironing is necessary.

- Avoid dry cleaning.

Tencel

- Wash in cold water. If using a washing machine, select a short, gentle cycle.

- Do not soak.

- Wash separately from other laundry.

- Use a mild liquid detergent.

- Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.

- Natural drying will protect the fibres. Avoid direct sunlight to preserve the colour. If using a tumble dryer, choose a low-heat and gentle setting.

- If ironing is needed, iron at a low temperature on the reverse side.

- Avoid dry cleaning.

Pima Cotton

- Machine wash at 30 deg C or less on a gentle cycle.

- Use a mild liquid detergent.

- Avoid laundry powder as the particles can get stuck in the fibres.

- Do not soak, bleach or use fabric softener.

- Remove promptly from the washing machine. Line-dry for the best results and to increase the lifespan of the sheets. If using a tumble dryer, shake the linen hard first to reduce wrinkles. Tumble dry at low heat.

- If ironing, choose a low-temperature setting.

- Avoid dry cleaning.

Cotton

- Machine wash at 30 deg C or less on a gentle cycle. If there are stains, wash at 40 deg C but no higher.

- Use liquid detergent rather than washing powder, which can leave a residue.

- Avoid fabric softeners.

- Do not bleach as this may lead to stains.

- Line-dry for the best results. If using a dryer, choose a low temperature and remove promptly when done.

- Iron while the bed linen is slightly damp.

- Avoid dry cleaning.

Microfibre

- Wash in cold or warm water. Avoid hot water as this may melt the fibres.

- Use liquid detergent rather than laundry powder. Liquid detergents dissolve more easily and are less likely to leave a residue.

- Don’t wash your microfibre sheets with other fabrics such as cotton as the lint particles will clog the spaces in the weave.

- Avoid fabric softeners.

- Never use bleach as it breaks down the components of microfibre.

- If using a tumble dryer, select a short cycle.

- Avoid dry cleaning.
